Born in Yorkshire, Dave always had a natural talent for art and sculpture. Influenced by the work of French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson, master of real-life reportage photography, Dave’s path soon turned towards photography. He also admired Robert Capa, who believed that capturing the drama or joy of the moment was more important than technical fine-tuning.
Dave has travelled widely, exploring photography, martial arts and mountain climbing, and from these experiences he brings refreshing new insights to his photographic style, embracing contrast, dimension and mood. His pictures speak for themselves.
Dave is also a volunteer for the Milton Keynes Parks Trust and runs outdoor photography classes, teaching people not only how to enjoy their cameras, but also how to enjoy the parks!
